Materials and making
I make this wallet from Badalassi Pueblo vegetable-tanned leather. The leather is treated with oils and waxes for a soft feel and develops a patina with age and use.
Natural scars, insect marks and variations in tone are part of the leather's character, so each wallet may differ slightly from the photographs.
I hand stitch the wallet with strong, repairable waxed polyester thread, then burnish the edges and seal them with beeswax.
