Custom Project: Italian Leather Laptop Case

In our custom made spotlight we have a custom made laptop case for a HP Envy laptop. The customer wanted something simple but functional, whilst being elegant in its design. We used Italian Tempesti leather in this beautiful shade of not-quite-green and not-quite-blue. This leather is pure vegetable tanned, full grain with a non-pigmented aniline finish. It is supple yet firm and soft to touch, and will develop a beautiful patina of time as it gets used and carried about.

We hand stitch all of our products with a strong saddle stitch. Unlike products that are mass produced using machines, the saddle stitch we use will stand the test of time and use and will not unravel like a link stitched machine made item. Each stitch is extremely strong using a two independent thick waxed threads and interlocks with each hole. The wax helps keep them in place and also protects them for the elements and wear. Our hand sewn saddle stitched products are also easily repaired... should it need it after 40 years or so!

We are able to personalise your pieces with our stamp sets. We have a larger set for initials and an a smaller set for shortened names, dates, more subtle initials and even coordinates and short but sweet messages. This is set and pressed by hand.
